    Firstly, Kalam is a lovely lady. Her studio is a cosy space with sufficient room if you need to bring along a friend or two. The eventual outcome and styling really meets my expectations. Prior to the session, I was asked to give some references of the makeup and hair style I was looking for. On the day itself, she adjusted based on my face shape as well. The makeup was not over the top, it felt natural yet still manages to highlight and bring out my best. I had a bad breakout that period, and she made them disappear. Also, she speaks awesome English, as someone who can't communicate in Cantonese, I was able to feel at ease the entire session. I engaged her for my wedding, but if I have other important events to attend that requires styling, she will be my go-to.

    I took Kalam’s basic skincare, base and contour class. She is very good at explaining everything and patient. She is so kind in her approach and I learned so much from her! I look forward to taking more classes from her.

    Thankful to have Kalam to do my pre wedding shoot! Kalam absolutely nailed the natural makeup look that I was going for! I went to Kalam's studio only knowing the style I want but Kalam was able to advise and create the make up and hairstyle that would suit me. The make up lasted well through the 3 hours outdoor shoot! The whole session was very comfortable and a cosy session with Kalam's friendly personality. Definitely recommend, you will be in Kalam's good hands!

    I had an amazing makeup session for a black tie event by Ka Lam ?? I don’t normally do makeup, hence wanted something simple yet elegant. She was incredibly professional, thoughtful, enhancing my features beautifully while ensuring I felt comfortable and confident. I received so many compliments. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to shine at their special event! ?

    Kalam is a professional and passionate teacher. I really enjoyed her one on one make up tutorial. I think everyone who loves cosmetics should take some proper make up class first in order to save the money from buying unsuitable products in the future;)

    Kalam was an absolute delight to work with for my civil ceremony and tea ceremony! Her chill personality and good energy kept me at ease for what could have otherwise been a stressful morning.She completely nailed the hair & make up look I was going for, and made me feel beautiful and confident all day!

    Kalam did my makeup and hair for two of my wedding events in November. I was extremely happy with the looks. She is very easy to work with, helpful, cheerful and also accommodating. I had some sensitivity to eye makeup that was used at the trial session, and she promptly bought special makeup to ensure that it wouldn't happen to me on the big day(s).The only advice that I would give is: on the event day, it would be helpful to spend a couple of minutes at the start of the makeup session to discuss the looks/style, to ensure we are on the same page - especially if the trial was a few months prior to the event.I would recommend her services unreservedly to all my friends.

    The studio provided me with a comfortable experience for my wedding make up trial. My final look was executed with a high level of professionalism and speed which resulted in the natural look I wanted for my special day. Kalam shows true passion and love towards her work which makes the whole experience most enjoyable. My friends and family who have used her have also been very satisfied. Would not hesitate to recommend her!

    Kalam is a very professional and passionate make up artist! I've had her do my make up many times whether it's for weddings or for a Halloween party, and am always very satisfied every time and always got lots of compliments! I've recommended many friends and family to her and all have enjoyed their 'beautifying' experience with her! Definitely the best in Hong Kong!!
